Before the model can classify text, the text needs to be prepared so it can be read by a computer. What are the three types of semantic analysis?

  • Hyponyms: This refers to a specific lexical entity having a relationship with a more generic verbal entity called hypernym.
  • Meronomy: Refers to the arrangement of words and text that denote a minor component of something.
  • Polysemy: It refers to a word having more than one meaning.

This makes it possible to measure the sentiment on processor speed even when people use slightly different words. For example, “slow to load” or “speed issues” which would both contribute to a negative sentiment for the “processor speed” aspect of the laptop. The meaning representation can be used to reason for verifying what is correct in the world as well as to extract the knowledge with the help of semantic representation. In this component, we combined the individual words to provide meaning in sentences. Lexical analysis is based on smaller tokens but on the contrary, the semantic analysis focuses on larger chunks.
